Résumé
In February 2000, the French Archaeological Mission at Saqqâra discovered the pyramid of the queen mother Ânkhesenpepy II. Her sarcophagus, inscribed with the titulary of the queen, was found in situ on the western side of the funerary chamber. Its walls were carved with the famous Pyramid Texts, painted in green. On some of the backing stones behind the walls, two signs were painted in black: md3.t ntr, "the (papyrus) roll of the god". These signs would appear to indicate that the Pyramid Texts, the md3.t ntr, were already planned before the construction of the funerary chamber. The study of more than 230 inscribed fragments found during the excavation show that they come from the northern, southern and western walls of the room which have not yet been completely cleared. Preliminary analysis confirmed that the texts on the northern and southern walls are divided into two sections: eastern and western. The Pyramid Texts from the funerary chamber of Ânkhesenpepy II will hereafter be referred to as AII/F/Ne, AII/F/Se, AII/F/Nw, AII/F/W, etc. Three appendices deal with fragments of stone vessels found in the funerary chamber, fragments of bones found in the sarcophagus, and the problem of the reading and meaning of the name "Ânkhesenpepy".
